a little over a year ago

What are your favorite numbers and why?
1.4.2008-daughters birthday **12.28.2016 sons birthday also 10…its a good number for reps..

What CF movements do you like?
Hang cleans, rowing, assault bike,

What CF movements do you dislike?
thrusters, pull ups,

What sports or fitness things did you do before CF?
tough mudder gym…I think they are all gone now. Brute force sand bags at home during the pandemic.

How did you find Kanna? What was your first workout?
the all-knowing GOOGLE, My first work outlaws in Sept. 2020 with Coach Steph. (as per Triibe)

What’s your favorite thing about Kanna?
The fun and down to earth attitude throughout the gym, from coaches to members.

What are your hobbies?
Skiing, Hiking, trying to go to every MLB ballpark at least once. Biking on the SRT.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?
Im not a Patriots fan…(people seem to assume I am since I’m from Massachusetts)

What PRs or accomplishments are you most proud of?
Very happy the day I got my first kipping pull-ups.( still a work in progress though) Also my Running, I don’t really like running, so always happy to see any kind of progress

What’s on your CF bucket list?
clean and jerk, bar muscle-ups

What’s on your general bucket list?
take a trip to Europe

What advice do you have for new (or experienced!) CrossFitters?
let go of any worries about CrossFit moves/your abilities..have fun and expect to be surprised by your accomplishments.

Anything else you’d like to mention?
can we get some slam ball work? I haven’t used them at Kanna yet

How does one become Member of the Month? By embodying the Kanna ideals of Learning, Working Hard, and Having Fun. By contributing to the community and supporting others in and out of the workout. By being open to coaching and improving oneself for the sake of being better, not to “win” the workout. By just generally being a good person and having a positive attitude. And a lot more, but you get the idea!
