Manion WOD 2023

Kanna Fitness is excited to announce that it will be hosting the Manion WOD on April 29th during its regular classes. This event is held in honor of First Lieutenant Travis Manion, who lost his life in Iraq in 2007 while serving in the United States Marine Corps. The Manion WOD is a tribute to his legacy and the sacrifice he made for his country.

This event is a great opportunity to challenge yourself and push your limits while supporting a worthy cause. The workout itself is a hero workout, consisting of seven rounds of a 400-meter run and 29 back squats at 135 pounds for men and 95 pounds for women. Coaches will help modify this workout to suit each person’s abilities and needs. (Hint: Most of our folks partner for this and use less weight) This is a tough workout, but it is meant to honor the sacrifice that Travis Manion made for our country and to inspire us to push ourselves to new heights.

Registration for the Manion WOD is now open, and we encourage everyone to sign up and participate. All proceeds from the event will go to the Travis Manion Foundation, which is dedicated to empowering veterans and families of fallen heroes to develop character in future generations. It is a great way to support a worthy cause while also challenging yourself and improving your fitness.
